Yah, my desk is a bit of a mess. But:
...my new Mello figurine makes me very happy. XD

I have been so lucky to be involved in the International Death Note Fanbook Anthology! I quite honestly squealed when
Zeda first asked me if I would like to collaborate with her! Of course I said yes; I love Zeda's art so much, eee.
Anyway, Zeda and I have two stories in the Anthology --
Prayer, which is a Matt/Mello fic, and
The Physics Of Surface Tension, which is Matt/Near (and L/Mello). Her art is so pretty~!
And, my, there are so many amazing writers and artists involved. XD;
You can't buy it yet... but soon! ♥

...with a new blog. ^^
I'm not entirely sure why I need another place on the internet, but I've been considering it for quite some time now regardless. I suppose I like the idea of having a new format, a new site, somewhere where I'm not entirely entangled in interpersonal relationships the way I am on my livejournal, for example. Not that I don't love that! I do! I love it very much. But there are times when I would like to, you know... wax lyrical, or get weirdly philosophical, or talk about the pros and cons of one word over another, and, hmm, so often I end up thinking "that's actually very boring, I don't want my friends to feel obliged to read that, eep."
This kind of blog... well... it's a lot more open, I think. The idea of having something completely public, some place where anyone can read anything, is weirdly interesting to me ("weirdly" because I'm usually the first person to mark everything "private", you know ;__;). I suppose that this blog is an experiment for me in... being open.
And it seems like a nice idea to have some place where my fanfic readers can come and listen to me babble, haha, without them necessarily having to become my "friends".
Expect lots of blathering about writing, poetry, and probably a fair dose of fangirling, too. After all, I am a fanfic writer, am I not? :3
